Week 3: The Social Responsibility of Corporations and Director Oversight (Module 3)

  • Demo Policy Review: Assess an existing Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) policy.
  • Identify Gaps: Check if workplace policies ensure fair treatment and employee well-being.
  • Provide Inputs: Recommend updates to strengthen the company’s social responsibility commitments.

Week 4: Governance Practices as a Cornerstone of ESG (Module 4)

  • Mock Governance Structure Review: Examine the governance framework of a sample company.
  • Evaluate Transparency & Ethics: Identify weak areas in board accountability and ethics policies.
  • Suggest Fixes: Provide feedback on how independent directors can strengthen governance.

Month 2: ESG Compliance, Risk Assessment & Data-Driven Decision-Making

Week 5: Key ESG Compliance Frameworks and Standards for Directors (Module 5)

  • Demo ESG Compliance Review: Evaluate an ESG report aligned with frameworks like GRI, TCFD, or BRSR.
  • Check Accuracy: Ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Week 6: Conducting Benchmarking and Materiality Assessments from a Director’s Lens (Module 6)

  • Mock ESG Benchmarking Exercise: Compare ESG reports of two listed companies.

Week 7: ESG Reporting and Disclosure Obligations – Director's Role in Oversight (Module 7)

  • Check: If the company is tracking key ESG metrics effectively.
